Leo J. Govoni - President and Founder
 

 

Leo J. Govoni is the President and Founder of Boston Asset Management. Boston Asset Management (BAM) specializes in serving the financial and life planning needs of both the disabled and elder community. Since 1998 BAM has been an affiliate member of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar. BAM has worked closely with Elder Law Attorneys helping to meet the needs of their clients in many areas including Medicaid Planning, Life Planning, Asset Protection and other financial areas.

Leo Govoni co-founded and is Director of The Center for Special Needs Trust Administration, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation developed to meet the needs of the disabled community. The Center is the trustee for The National Pooled Trust (six state-specific Pooled Trusts) and most notably for The Florida Pooled Trust, which is one of the largest pooled trusts in the country.

Leo, along with his partner John W. Staunton, established Boston Settlement Group (BSG), a a settlement consulting firm which assists trial attorneys nationally by creating successful settlement preservation strategies for both mass tort and individual clients who receive significant settlement funds in wrongful death or personal injury cases. BSG focuses on Government Benefit Preservation, Settlement Administration, Medicare/Medicaid Lien resolutions, Plaintiff Bridge Loans and Settlement Assessment Analysis.

Leo is very active in the legal community and has served on many Florida Bar committees, including the grievance committee, and is currently serving on the Florida Bar Rules Committee. Leo is also a member of the Board of Overseers at Stetson University College of Law.
